Wish You Were Here....

Get off the Grid and lay low. Eat food that nourishes Body and Soul. Take it ALL IN with your senses. What more is there to say? What more can one possibly say?

Gosh! What a Wind Today!

Mother Wind sometimes blows big and churles up the waters. It's a particularly frothy day down at the beach at yiimtii . But, not one that stops a hearty soul from beachcombing in search of the great Sea Turtle and where she might stash her eggs.

If you look closely at the beach in this picture, you can see the sea turtle tracks. Check it out!!!

I Could Stare Endlessly...

I could stare at these mountains folded into one another all day long
and not see the same thing twice as each new moment unfolds,
the sunlight licking along, adjusting the colors second by second.

All Things Are Connected

This we know; the earth does not belong to man; man belongs to the earth. This we know. All things are connected like the blood which unites one family. All things are connected. (Chief Seattle)

STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN

So, the tower is finished... we have a nice view of the sky above the canopy now. We invite you all to come and learn the stars... it is a whole different sky up there when you look up and you know your neighbors by name...it makes you feel more at home.
Thank you Tim for manifesting this dream. The tree house of my childhood dreams is even better that I ever imagined!!!

The Well Is Everything

The experience of water in this desert paradise is something everyone should have. If it is not already, like oil, water will soon be on the minds of people. Come to yiimtii to learn simple ways to conserve water, ways that protect how we use the land on which we live.

Heaven in a Wild Flower

"To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven
in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity
in the palm of your hand
And Eternity
in an hour." (Blake)
The photo of this white flower
was taken against a backdrop of
aqua clear water on a hike
at yiimtii.
